Oak Tree Realty was founded in 1986 and is the only real estate company in San Diego that services institutional REO’s exclusively. Our 25 years of REO experience and unlimited capacity is hard to match.

We have disposed of more than 3900 properties for various institutions, including experience with government contracts, over the past 25 years. This volume of business has given us unparalleled experience in tackling REO problems and successfully closing properties. Due to our involvement in REO’s for such an extended period, we have established a lengthy client list for all areas of San Diego. 

Oak Tree Realty coordinates with rehab contractors, utility companies, landscapers, etc, to put our properties in marketable conditions. We work with an experienced group of vendors with proven work quality as well as price integrity. We provide interim property management for all properties being marketed and will do all in our power to facilitate a smooth transaction between buyer and seller.

Our Short Sale Division has over 25 years of experience developing a far-reaching network of contacts consisting of property owners, mortgage companies, banks and realtors.   We work to protect our borrower’s credit from further degradation, presenting a solution to the lender and negotiating favorable terms and helping to minimize borrower’s debt obligations though our structured process that has been successful.   This will allow the borrower and their family to get a fresh start. We work as a team to expedite the process with a fast resolution.
